Jordan LNG Tender by June

Jordan is expected to offer a tender for construction of an offshore liquefied natural gas terminal in the port of Aqaba by June, a local newspaper said in a report.

In the initial stages, gas will be supplied to power plants, and at a later stage to the industrial sector and consumers, the newspaper reported.

Companies expected to complete a feasibility study are Tractebel Engineering SA, Navigant Consulting Inc, Trowlers & Hamlins LLP and Mapstone.
