Jordanian Delegation to Discuss Gas Supplies with Egypt
A delegation from the Islamist movement in Jordan will head to Cairo on Tuesday to mediate re-supplying Egyptian natural gas to the Kingdom.
Zaki Bani Ersheid , a top ranking leader of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), confirmed in statements to Ammon News that a delegation headed by MB Comptroller Hammam Saeed will leave to Egypt on Tuesday to discuss the Egyptian gas supply crisis.
Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs , Nasser Judeh, had urged the Islamist movement to play a positive role in the Egyptian gas supply issue.
The pipeline supplying Egyptian natural gas to Jordan and Israel has been attacked dozens of times since the start of the revolution in early 2011 in Egypt.
